                 IRCTC’s Tatkal tickets booking rule are revised on a regular basis. With various new rules, travelers often get confused. Now that the festive seasons are here once again, people make some last moment travel bookings and, to help them, the Indian Railways has made provision online tatkal ticket booking. Tatkal Booking Timings:  1)Booking for AC Tatkal tickets will begin from 10 AM in the morning while for non-AC at 11 AM (a day before the actual date of travel). 2)Agents are not allowed to book tickets between 08:00 am to 08:30 am, 10:00 am to 10:30 am and 11:00 am to 11:30 am to prevent cornering of tickets at the time of opening of  Tatkal  and Advance Reservation Period bookings.
